Jesse Metcalfe is an American actor and musician who starred as teen gardener John Rowland in the ABC comedy-drama series Desperate Housewives.
From 1999 to 2004, Metcalfe played the role of Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald on the NBC soap opera Passions, and played the title role in John Tucker Must Die. He also played the role of Christopher Ewing in the TNT continuation of Dallas, based on the 1978 series of the same name, and starred as Trace Riley in Hallmark Channel’s hit series Chesapeake Shores from 2016 to 2021.
